I don't know about you, but I love a good book tag. These tags give a good opportunity to share more about yourself.
Recently I watched Heather from Bookables complete this TBR tag, and well I wanted to participate. So here we go.
How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
My main method is through Goodreads. I have my "to read" list on there, and it is filled with books that I want to read. Now is this a physical pile? Well no. I don't have that kind of money to buy every single book I want. So I keep a digital list. Then I go to that list when I want to do a library run, or if I have spending money available to splurge on Kindle books. I also have my Kindle TBR, which is a whole other story.
Is your TBR mostly print or ebook?
Predominantly ebook. I used to be firmly team physical book, but over the years that has changed. I have fallen in love with ebooks. Especially since it opens up a whole new world to independent authors.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?
Honestly the book that I choose to read is all by mood. It is what I want in that moment. As well as if I have it "on hand" to read.
A Book That's Been On Your TBR List The Longest
Well, let me go check Goodreads to see what that answer is.
Okay I have the answer, the book that has been on my list the longest (or since I started using the want to read option), is Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate.
This book went onto my list on August 2, 2018. So it's only been on there for two years. That isn't too horrible. Right? Right.
A Book You Recently Added To Your TBR
Oh this is easy. I know this one without even looking. It is BaeWatch by Xavier Neal.
A Book On Your TBR Strictly Because Of Its Beautiful Cover
I honestly don't have a book that is just there because of the cover. Is that wrong? I won't add the book if I don't like the premise.
A Book On Your TBR That You Never Plan On Reading
hahahahahahahaha
Honestly, that could probably be a lot of my TBR. There are just so many good books out there, and not nearly enough time to read them all. But if I have to choose a book, I'll go with One Heart at a Time by Delilah.
I had added this book to my TBR, as I used to listen to her radio show practically every night. That was during my single years, and before the local radio station that hosted her show did a format change. I loved the sound of her voice, and how calm she sounded. Who knows, even though I say I never plan on reading it, I never say never. (now watch I'll check it out from the library in the coming months)
That would be The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang.
An Unpublished Book On Your TBR That You're Excited For
Oh where to start! I feel like I have an entire list! Oh wait, I do. 🤣 I'll take it easy on you all, and only tell you four of the books.
First up is Rules for Dating your Ex by Piper Rayne.
This is the 9th book in the series, and it covers Sedona's life. We've been getting little snippets here and there in other books, but now is the time to get it all out. I cannot wait. September 1st is coming fast, and I'm ready. I'll have my Kindle ready too, have no doubt.
Next is Only One Kiss by Natasha Madison.
Oh how I love hockey romance. LOVE it. I blame Pucked by Helena Hunting, as that kicked off my love. Anyways... Only One Kiss is the first book in a brand new hockey series, and you already know I have it pre-ordered. I am hopeful to see cameos by familiar faces from her other hockey series. Only One Kiss also releases on September 1st, so I'm having a little problem here. Which do I read first?
Now for only my non-romance pick.
That is Hollowpox by Jessica Townsend.
I have been WAITING since August 27, 2019. That is when I finished Wundersmith. First I heard rumors that Hollowpox would be out in March 2020, and then all the sudden it was pushed out. I was crushed. But October 15 will be here in no time, and I am psyched. Also, I am going to be buying the physical copy of this series. I absolutely love it. When I read Nevermoor and Wundersmith, I had utilized my local library. I'm not certain I can do that with Hollowpox, as I don't want to wait!
My last book that I'll mention is Noble Prince by Devney Perry.
Back in May of this year, I read Gypsy King, which is the first book in the Tin Gypsy series, and I fell in love with the characters. It was my first true MC romance so that may play a part in my desire to read Noble Prince. After reading Riven Knight, and then with how Stone Princess ended, I'm not certain how this book will play out. So I'm curious. Naturally. But now I have to wait until November 13th to find out. Sigh.
A Book On Your TBR That Basically Everyone's Read But You
I've heard how amazing the book is, but I just haven't gotten there yet. Soon. Maybe.
A Book On Your TBR That Everyone Recommends to You
This one is a bit more difficult for me. I say that, but once you know I am a fan of the ACOTAR series, you'll know what book I'm going to say.
Is anyone shocked? Yeah, I didn't think so. Yes, it's true, I have not read House of Earth and Blood yet. I want to though. I mean obviously, it's on my TBR.
A Book On Your TBR That You're Dying to Read
There's no cover picture, but my answer to this is A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas. Come on, it should be of no surprised based on my answer right above this. This is just one of many things to look forward to in January 2021.
How Many Books Are On Your TBR Shelf?
Happy Reading,
