Tackled is the second book in the Vegas Aces: The Quarterback series, and it also released on September 9, 2021!
Tackled picked up right where Traded left off. Because this is a continuation story, I have to be careful with my recap and review. After all the last thing I want to do is spoil any part of the story!
So, assuming you read Traded, you know what happened there. Well in Tackled, we get to know Jack a lot better. Bits and pieces of his life are getting revealed, and oofta there is a lot to go through. The big thing though is his relationship with Michelle. Their wedding is coming up quickly, and Jack really does not want to marry her, but he has to. Kate is right by his side though helping him through all the things, all while trying not to fall head over heals for the man. There is some definite chemistry happening, and the tension is thick.
I love Jack. I love Kate. I love that we got to see Luke and Josh make an appearance. My gut tells me that book two was the lead up to a major blowup in book 3. Have I read book 3? Nope. It's just what I'm feeling. I'm feeling a big dramatic Michelle moment building, and the after shocks are going to be off the charts. So much happened in Tackled, but I can't say anything! Just know you learn a lot, and you see the bond between Jack and Kate becoming stronger. Even while he does his best to push her away.
Thank you for reading my thoughts on Tackled. If you choose to read Vegas Aces: The Quarterback, know that you need to start with Traded. This isn't one of those series where you can jump in at any time. Go read this series, and fall for the characters. (as well as Lisa Suzanne because she's just dang awesome.)

TACKLED is the second book in the VEGAS ACES: THE QUARTERBACK series. This series must be read in order!
Tackled releases September 9
My questions surrounding Jack’s relationship with his future bride grow more pressing by the day…especially when his eyes tackle me with all that heat. As he saves my job and I continue to coach him toward better decisions, I find myself falling for him. Maybe my purpose here is to open
his eyes to all his options.
his eyes to all his options.
But if he leaves his new boss’s daughter, the consequences could mean the end of both our careers.
