Let's return to Telluride shall we?
In Adventurous Love we catch up with Henry Rigby. He is Gray's best friend, and these two are like brothers. So when Gray and Elle ask him to help out with their upcoming wedding, he naturally says yes. Enter Kelsey. She is Elle's childhood friend, and has been asked to be the Maid of Honor at the wedding. Kelsey cannot turn down the opportunity, and is excited to experience everything that Telluride has to offer during her two week stay. Shortly after arriving, Elle asks Kelsey if she'll work with Henry to make sure things go smoothly for the big day. As if Elle even needed to ask! Kelsey is looking forward to her time off from work, spending time with her friend, and exploring this community. There just happens to be some down time for Henry and Kelsey, so Henry decides to show Kelsey around and take her on some adventures. After all he is considering adding these services to the resort, so why not try it out with her?
I loved this story. I loved the forced proximity. I loved the instalove aspect. I loved the grand gesture after the big dramatic moments. And of course, I loved the happily ever after. Then there's all the adventures that Henry and Kelsey went on. SO MUCH FUN! So many memories were made, and I really think it helped our characters to bond. My favorite though might have been the snowball fight. These two are certainly competitive! Which makes reading their adventures so much more enjoyable. While reading Adventurous Love, I was a bit distracted by Piper Rigby. Every time she made an appearance (which wasn't often), or was talked about, I found myself wondering what her story was. Why is Piper the way she is? What is it that is affecting her so much that she's withdrawing from her family, and comes across as a bit standoff-ish? Yes, Kelsey nailed a few things on the head when she was explaining her viewpoint to Henry, but there's more. I can feel it. THANKFULLY Lea Coll tells me that Piper's story is next! So my answers are coming!
If you are looking for a small town, instalove story with some forced proximity, then go read Adventurous Love. I think you'll enjoy it. I know I did. It also has me curious about Telluride. Thank you for taking time to read my thoughts. I appreciate you stopping by. Happy reading.

I don't do small town, country living. The hustle and bustle of New York pumps through my veins. Still, when a dear friend invited me to stand up in her wedding, I decided to embrace all Colorado had to offer. I was expecting mountainous terrain and outdoor adventures. Instead, I found myself face to face with the ruggedly handsome Henry Rigby—a lumberjack fantasy come to life. It was supposed to be a short trip. Yet the time we spent together made New York seem farther and farther away...

As best man, I promised the groom I would show Kelsey a good time. I considered her one of my groomsmen responsibilities... until I saw her. Far from the high-maintenance New Yorker I expected, she was working that alluring girl next door look. Still, I had sworn off commitment and she had major trust issues. Feelings shouldn't have factored into our time together. But, the vulnerability beneath her steadfast independence called to me. And, for the first time in a long time, I found myself regretting I couldn't offer her the commitment she deserved.
